I can only add that it starts at the first half-turn of the key every time (even on my return from holidays, where I have not used her for weeks ). I have owned it for almost 2yrs now to go to college and work; I'm about to graduate and probably leave the country hence reason for reluctant sell. I spent about £2000 to finish what it was a rusty-bug project.GOOD BITS: new original Beetle second-hand engine, professional welding all around, changed all wheels (with all new tyres), re-sprayed the same original colour, renewed interior, still has original 1974 working radio with cassette player (although not sure about the cassette player as I don't actually have a cassette to play, lol), new battery (less than 2mnths ago), entire electric was re-done, always well maintained and complete of all receipts for works carried out by a specialist Beetle mechanic, ready tobe driven away and enjoyed; (it went through two winters without the trace of a problem and last Easter holiday I drove it to Lake District from Bournemouth and didn't let me down once). The engine still pulls like a tank. And the body is still super sound. It has passed two MOTs since I owned it only with minor problems i.e. blown bulbs, worn-out wipers, etc. No leaks.BAD BITS: two little cuts on the inside roof-lining (it happened as I was trying to get some palettes in&out of the car), odometer not working (stopped at 68K miles and had perhaps about another 10K miles from me in two yrs), heavy on petrol (but I heard that is a feature of VW Beetles) and not ready for F1 yet (top speed of 65-70mph if stretched). It's 35yrs old car and despite my only re-spray it's showing signs of bubbling again that i can cover easily if agreed; and don't expect to find all the latest com-luxury. That's all, believe it or not.Obviously, it comes with all the paper (V5, MOTs for the last 32yrs, receipts and a thick original Beetle manual) and I would almost guarantee that whoever buys it would not have to spend on it any money for quite a long time.I am always 100% honest so I welcome viewers and interested potential buyers; my
